The ICODE SLIX card speaks ISO 15693 instead of 14443-A, which trades a little speed for a much longer read range — up to about a metre with the right reader. That makes it the natural choice for library books, file folders and assets that are read in bulk rather than tapped one at a time.

Key Features

  • Reads at up to roughly one metre on ISO 15693 long-range readers.
  • Bulk reading of many items at once, plus EAS/AFI anti-theft support.
  • 2048-bit user memory organised in 64 blocks; SLIX2 available with 2560 bit.

Typical Applications

  • Library book and media tagging
  • Document and file management
  • Asset inventory
  • Retail and supply-chain tracking

Customisation Options

Every card is produced in our own factory, so the card body and the artwork are handled under one roof. Choose offset or digital printing for full-colour artwork, add a magnetic stripe (LoCo / HiCo), a signature panel, embossed numbering, a scratch-off panel or a punched slot. We can also pre-write your UID, NDEF record or sector keys so the cards go straight into your system on arrival. Artwork is checked by our engineers before plating, and we send a digital proof for approval.

Samples, MOQ & Lead Time

MOQ is 100 pcs per chip specification. Stock samples are free of charge and you only cover the shipping — they ship within 1–2 business days by DHL or FedEx. Custom sampling takes 3–5 days and carries a sample fee, which is credited back in full once the related bulk order reaches USD 10,000 or more. Standard lead time for 10,000 cards is about 12–15 days after artwork approval. Every card is 100% RF tested before packing, and we ship worldwide on EXW, FOB, CIF or DDP terms.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum order quantity?
It depends on the process and chip. Standard products start from 100 pcs; electronic labels and inlays start from 1,000 pcs. Send us your target quantity and we will confirm the exact MOQ.
Can I get a sample before placing an order?
Yes. Stock samples are free — you only cover shipping, and they ship within 1–2 business days. Custom samples take 3–5 working days and carry a sample fee, credited back in full once your bulk order reaches USD 10,000.
How long does mass production take?
7–15 working days after sample approval for most orders. Larger or multi-process orders are scheduled individually.

Yes. Send vector artwork and we handle printing, UID/laser numbering and NDEF encoding, then ship a test sample for verification.
Which certifications and quality checks do you provide?
Production follows ISO 9001 quality control with full inspection before shipment. Chip compliance documents are available on request.
